Getting Rid Of The Deadbeats

I don’t know if you’ve ever been scuba diving or not but if you have, you know that you must put on a weight belt. Because if you don’t you won’t be able to sink to the bottom of the ocean.

In scuba diving you want to be able to sink and you also want to be able to come back up.

The people in your life that are dead-weights are keeping you from going up. Eventually, what is going to happen is that you’re going to run out of air.

You’re trying to do good, to tap into the good, the clean, the powerful, the positive and immerse yourself in it, even swim in it.

You want to go up like an airplane but if it’s overloaded, it will crash before it’s even able to reach cruising altitude.

If you have average people in your life, you will not be able to go where you’re trying to go. Average people are dead weights. They don’t propel you up, they weigh you down. I’m talking about the people in your life; perhaps it’s your aunty, or uncle, mammy or pappy and your cousin Larry - or anybody else in your life that is not successful.

What is success?

My definition of success is manifesting your potential in abundance.

That’s a definition that I don’t think anybody can really take issue with.

Manifesting whatever your potential is, is what success is. As you fall short of that, you are a failure.

It’s a lie that you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

You can have all the things if you are living up to your potential. If you start to slack off in one area, you will soon see all areas suffer because of it.

Let’s take your health as an example. If you are slacking in your health, you’re going to start to get sick, you’re not going to have energy, etc.

You need to have a lot of energy in order to be successful because there are a lot of things that you need to be able to do.

If you don’t have good health, it will affect everything else, like a domino effect. Your mood will be affected, which will affect your production, which will further affect your kids and the entire society that you’re in.

And it all started because you had that peanut butter and jelly sandwich. ;)

That is how it is with everything else. All the other areas touch all the other areas.

If you are trying to lose weight and you’re living with a fatty, you’ve got a problem. Because this overweight person is going to be telling you that you are fine. They are advocating average. They don’t care what you do.

Average people are advocating for average.

I want to take it a step further and say that average is evil.

Evil is destruction. Good is creation. It’s giving to more life and energy.

The average person is pulling for what they think of as comfort, which is really uncomfortable. They live in a position of failure because they have quit.

No-one wants to be a nobody when they are a little kid. We are endowed with the seeds of greatness. Every one of us is.

Along the way, adults start to suppress you into being average. And as time goes on and you keep hearing things like, “do something that makes sense”, “have something to fall back on”, “don’t work too hard”, etc., you basically get your dreams stripped from you, or beaten out of you by average people.

Average is screaming everywhere. It’s hard to escape it. It’s at the grocery store, at the bank, in the news, etc. It’s all around you.

But you’re going to find what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for good, success, fame and influence, you’re going to find it.

If the people in your life are advocating average and have little inky-winky problems it will undoubtedly start to weigh on you.

As much as you want to ignore it, it keeps pounding on you. It slowly starts sucking your soul. Maybe it’s the people you work with. It’s not the job, it’s the people at the job, the environment that you’re in.

Even though they don’t always process it like this, the reality is that average people don’t want you to ascend beyond them because then it will indite them. You are at war with the average, the ideology of average.

It’s a selfish state to be in. They are not thinking about helping people. Why would you help 20 people if you are able to help 2 million people?

What is your potential?

There is no staying still or slowing down because as soon as you stay standing, you’re going backwards.

The giver gets the glory. If you go out of your way to help, not just 20, not just 200, but as many people as you can, you will be famous. What is being famous? It’s just being great at something and rising to notoriety because of it.

As long as you’re average, you’re not going to be able to influence the people in your life that are trying to keep you where you’re at.

You need to rise above and be so far ahead in your success level that you get leverage on them so that you can help them. In the meantime, you’ve got to cut them out. And be ruthless about it.

You don’t want their nay-saying when you have a goal. You don’t need their fear and doubts. What you need is someone that can come alongside you and say, “go for it”, “you can do it”, “I’m here to support you.”

If you’ve got deadweight in your life, you will need to cut it out.

Because if you want to help others, you first need to get high enough so that you have the leverage you need to lift them up.

You first must be fulfilling your potential before you can help others to do the same.
